I've heard about Georgie's from several other people. Loved the promo. Do they serve food and is it any good?

ReplyDeleteNo, seriously, I bet it took a lot of courage to go in there the first time. Luckily, your bravery paid off...sounds like Georgie's is a great place to catch the game (AND to enjoy some strong, cheap drinks)!

ReplyDeleteMom, I think their french fries are really good and crisp! The rest of the food is pretty standard - it isn't one of the best bars for eating - but they do have some nice fresh sandwiches and cold salads.
ReplyDeleteCatherine, although Georgie's is a "gay-bar" and I am most assuredly a straight man, I don't remember being too uncomfortable. All the TVs and sports make it feel like a regular sports bar, and no one ever gave me a hard time or made me feel awkward (except perhaps for on your birthday, but by that time I knew what to expect).
